One of the most basic thing you can do on photoshop is layers (like making a colla'ge, not a collar, not a collage, a colla'ge (pronounced like garage)).

this can be used to make funny pictures us ee on youtube fail videos. like for example the tank that got blown up in one bullet, i made my own version of that :D ill try see f i can insert it onto this post.

(scroll down) notice the guy tehre, he shot the tank. These images are very easy to create. jus need a couple of steps :D

Step 1: open photoshop
Step 2: click "edit".
Step 3: click file, open and get the picture u want your background to be.
Step 4: click file open and get the picture u want to cut soemthing out of.
Step 5: youll see a menu on ur left with a lot of tools, click the one that says lasso if uve used it before it shud be on polygonal lasso, clck it and set it to polygonal.
Step 6: trace the shape you want to cut out of ur picture, once finished the last point nd joined it to the first, the lines shud be moving, these re called the marching ants, dey help to show you what youve outlined.
Step 7: click edit, copy or even cut if u want.
Step 8: minimise the picture, not the whole window.
Step 9: open up the other picture, you do not need to use file, open again, jus move ur desktop bar to your right and youll see that you can click the pictures that youve opened.
Step 10: Click edit, paste and den click the button on the tools menu that has a moving icon and a mouse pointer.
Step 11: that utton will allow u to resize, and spin the piture.
Step 12: Add the text you want and save :D.
